2. Privacy position
F4ULT Beta 0.1.0 is designed around a local-first privacy model. It has no user account, no advertising, no behavioural analytics or telemetry, no Firebase integration, no F4ULT cloud backend, no subscription service, no AI-service dependency and no permanent background monitoring.
115 Studios does not sell F4ULT user data or use F4ULT to create advertising profiles.
3. Information accessed on your device
When you run a diagnostic, F4ULT reads information Android exposes about the active network connection. Depending on the connection and what Android makes available, this may include:
- the active network transport;
- internet-capability, validation and captive-portal state;
- Wi-Fi signal strength, frequency and receive link speed;
- configured DNS servers;
- the active default gateway;
- Private DNS state; and
- VPN state.
F4ULT interprets this information on the device. It is not uploaded to a 115 Studios F4ULT server.
4. Active diagnostic requests
When you explicitly run a diagnosis, F4ULT performs direct network requests to test different parts of the connection path. Beta 0.1.0 may:
- resolve
example.comthrough the active Android network and configured resolver; - make an HTTPS request to
https://example.com/; - make TCP reachability checks to
1.1.1.1:443and8.8.8.8:443; and - perform limited TCP checks to the local default gateway where appropriate.
These requests exist only to provide connectivity evidence. F4ULT does not upload the resulting diagnostic report or network evidence to a 115 Studios backend.
5. Signal Walk
Signal Walk lets you enter names for physical locations and save associated Wi-Fi measurements so you can compare coverage around your own environment.
Saved Signal Walk information may include the location name you enter, Wi-Fi signal-strength samples, median signal strength, capture time, Wi-Fi frequency and receive link speed.
Signal Walk history is stored locally in Android no-backup storage. F4ULT Beta 0.1.0 also excludes its application data from Android cloud-backup and device-transfer backup rules.
6. Reports and clipboard
F4ULT reports are generated locally on the device. Creating a report does not upload it to 115 Studios.
A report is placed on the Android system clipboard only when you explicitly choose COPY F4ULT REPORT.
After you copy a report, Android and any application you choose to paste it into may handle the clipboard contents according to their own behaviour and privacy terms.
7. Retention and deletion
F4ULT does not maintain a remote diagnostic-history service or remote F4ULT user account.
Signal Walk entries remain locally on the device until you replace or clear them, clear F4ULT application data, or uninstall F4ULT.
8. Android permissions
F4ULT Beta 0.1.0 requests INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE and ACCESS_WIFI_STATE.
It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, call logs, broad file-storage access or Nearby Wi-Fi scanning permissions.
9. Third-party endpoints
Internet diagnostics necessarily communicate with network infrastructure outside the device. Operators of endpoints contacted by F4ULT can receive ordinary technical information inherent to an internet connection, such as the source or public IP address and request timing.
115 Studios does not operate example.com, 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, and F4ULT does not receive a copy of that endpoint-side connection metadata on a 115 Studios server.
