S3NT Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what S3NT is

S3NT is a creative utility developed and operated by 115 Studios. 115 Studios is the trading name used by Matthew Astoria, a sole trader.

S3NT helps you turn a genuine thought into a crafted object that you can keep on your device or choose to share. Beta 1 includes The Note, Polaroid, Receipt and Certificate.

S3NT does not require the recipient of an object to install S3NT.

2. What 115 Studios receives

S3NT does not require an account and does not operate a S3NT content cloud or backend. Your S3NT creations are not uploaded to 115 Studios.

115 Studios does not receive the text or other content you use to make an object, the finished objects stored in your Drawer, the photos you deliberately select for a Polaroid, or a history of the people you choose to send things to.

S3NT does not build a remote recipient history or social graph.

3. Local storage and the Drawer

S3NT processes the content you deliberately provide while making an object on your device.

If you choose KEEP IN DRAWER, S3NT stores the finished object image and a small local Drawer record in the app's storage on your device. This allows the object to be reopened, sent again or deleted later.

S3NT also stores one small local marker recording whether first-run onboarding has been completed.

This local S3NT data is not synchronised to a 115 Studios account or S3NT content service.

4. Selected photos

Polaroid uses a photo only when you deliberately select one through the device's photo selection flow.

The selected photo is processed on your device so S3NT can create the Polaroid object. S3NT does not upload the selected photo to 115 Studios.

A finished Polaroid image may contain the selected photo as part of the object you choose to keep or share.

5. Sharing

S3NT creates a high resolution PNG of the finished object on your device.

Sharing happens only when you explicitly choose to share. S3NT then opens the operating system's native share interface so that you can choose the destination.

115 Studios does not receive a copy of the object simply because you use S3NT's sharing feature.

6. Other apps and services

When you choose another app or service from the operating system's share interface, that destination may receive and process the copy you chose to share.

The destination's handling of that shared copy is governed by its own behaviour, terms and privacy practices. 115 Studios does not control what happens to a copy after you send or save it outside S3NT.

7. Analytics, advertising and tracking

S3NT does not contain advertising, behavioural analytics or advertising trackers operated by 115 Studios.

115 Studios does not use S3NT to create advertising profiles and does not sell S3NT creation data.

8. Device and operating system backups

Your device or operating system may independently include application data in a device backup, transfer or restore process depending on your platform and backup settings.

Those backup mechanisms are controlled by your device, operating system and any backup provider you choose. They are not a S3NT cloud content service operated by 115 Studios.

9. Retention and deletion

S3NT Drawer items remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app's local data, subject to the behaviour of your device and operating system.

Deleting an item from the Drawer deletes the local saved object image and its associated Drawer record from that S3NT installation.

Clearing S3NT application data or uninstalling S3NT removes the app's local data from that installation. Device or operating system backups may exist separately according to your own backup settings.

Copies you already shared, saved or sent outside S3NT exist independently of the app. Deleting the original Drawer item does not delete those external copies.

10. Security and control

S3NT is designed so that your creation content stays under your control on your device unless you choose to share it.

The security of local S3NT data also depends on the protections provided by your device and operating system. You should use the device security features appropriate for you and share objects only with destinations you trust.

11. Children

S3NT is a general audience creative utility and is not designed specifically for children.

S3NT does not ask users to create an account, provide a date of birth or submit creation content to 115 Studios. If a child uses S3NT, the same local storage and sharing behaviour described in this policy applies.

12. Changes to this policy

If S3NT's features or data practices materially change, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
